I think this is a bug, but not 100% sure.

I was working on two projects this morning - trying to split off a module from one project to include in a second. After switching back and forth a few times, I noticed on the tab bar that both projects were open several times.

I was using the open recent dialog to go from one project to another.

Steve

This is neither bug, nor exactly a feature. We know "open recent dialog" works like this and that to switch between the projects (not opening new one) you are supposed to click the tabs in the bar.

We have not limited the opening of the same project because we can imagine situations, when it is helpful when multiple copies of the same project are opened. So far we did not get any negative or positive feedback about this behavior so we do not plan to change it.
